Pan-Orthodox Vespers & Memorial Service for Met. NICHOLASThe churches from the Johnstown area met together to celebrate Pan-Orthodox Vespers. However, just as we were gathering together for the vespers service we were saddened to learn Met. NICHOLAS of the Carpatho-Russian Church had fallen asleep in the Lord about an hour before vespers was set to begin. We had a wonderful vespers service followed by Memorial Prayers for Met. NICHOLAS.
