Bishop's Weekend 2010

On September 18 and 19 we were honored to have His Grace, Bishop THOMAS visit St. Mary Orthodox Church. Saturday Bp. Thomas joined the church leadership for a luncheon followed by a trip to The Women’s Help Center in Johnstown to bless the Joyce Murtha Peace Garden. Bp. THOMAS then joined us for Vespers at the church followed by a dinner with the Parish Council.
On Sunday Bishop THOMAS visited with the children in Church School and then presided over a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy. Following the Liturgy the church held a brunch in honor of the visit by Bp. THOMAS.
